Glad you enjoyed the posting Evan. If nothing derails me, I'll aim to write about Stick Up! this coming weekend.

I don't know if someone else out there undergoes periodic influences as me now for New Jazz. I'm listening to the first 100 titles and looking for those still missing. last one I bought: Oliver Nelson, New Jazz 8224: Meet Oliver Nelson. Anyone wanting to sell/trade some New Jazz? Did anyone ever find a double sided DG? A couple of listings on Popsike say they are, but i have my doubts. Here's mine:

I thought we talked about it elsewhere, but JROCK has some good/interesting posts about New Jazz on Instagram recently I thought i would share with the non Instagram users. The wider deep groove appears to be a hallmark of a early pressing on New Jazz if not a first pressings. There was also some talk about a price tag that can be found at the upper right or left corner on the back jacket ($3.98 I believe) and whether the presence or absence of this is evidence of a first pressing.

I can contribute with my labels. as in other New Jazz numbers, tone of color varies from purple to violet. How about the back cover? Any price mentioned on it?

A couple of promos of Wallington's New York Scene just sold on eBay and both had the $3.98 marking on the rear cover.

on the "priced" covers, the layout is different from the usual one not priced.

What differences are you seeing dottor?
I actually can't find a copy of New York Scene without the price. Seems they only had one pressing on New Jazz.

different font, personnel not in bald, address and "users of wide range.." on more than a line, number on back cover far from NJ. I do not have any number with price so I don't know if this is a "new standard" different from the one on all others.
