I have just read the article about the high prices a Tempo label can command. I have looked on Ebay but cannot find those high prices, so I am wondering if it is not only the label but the artist. My interest is because I have two Chris Barber 7" EPs on the Tempo label. Comments appreciated, thanks.

I think you'll find Tubby Hayes and Jimmy Deuchar records on Tempo quite a different prospect price wise. So yes, definitely artist dependent. BTW, where did you see this article, sounds interesting.

this type of thing happens on a lot of labels, where one artist commands very high prices and the others are more reasonable.
