Shamelessly, I have created an Instagram account for myself to post my record collection bit by bit and to talk with some other like-minded folks on there. The name is "jazz_peasant". Beware, I am not a photographer at all.
Please do follow, and if you aren't on there, consider it! It is a great way to learn from other collectors, just like we do here!

I completely agree (and already follow you!). I feel like it is a wonderful platform for sharing pictures and pressing details. Very easy and user friendly!

Thanks Gregory. I set myself a goal of trying to complete a first press set of the 1500s a long time ago and I'm almost done. A few more to go, but these last few have been a challenge. I just hope my son will appreciate his old man's effort someday!

OK, I'll give it a whirl. I've created an account and followed you both. I'll try to add some pictures soon.

This is a great idea. I haven't been on IG for a while now (too much time wasted browsing my feed), but I really like the idea of having a Deep Groove Mono IG account just for sharing photos of records with you guys! This is an especially intetesing prospect for me because I don't post about my records on my blog unless I have time to give them "the full DG Mono treatement". This way, I can throw up pics of all my records and we can chat about them there! I'll check back in once I've made my account.

Well, I followed you both (Greg and Jrock). I've not posted pics of my jazz LPs yet, but I guess it's time to start.

Just followed you. I haven't been on for a while but just posted photos of some Bobby Hutcherson LPs and got a couple of likes off Herbie Hancock as his name was tagged – presumably it was by someone who looks after these things for him but I'll tell myself otherwise. The audio/video facility is a nice feature. My instagram name is 'frank_parry'

I caved and joined today. It's any easy way to monitor what's coming into my local shops and see what GTF and jock have scored!

I'm on there as @tallswami but have not been posting much regarding records lately. There is more to life than a circle with a hole in the middle (sometimes).

Any pictures of your whole collection? I also noticed y'all are infringing on my west coast territory following some of my SoCal dealers.

Ha -- the more cat pictures I post, the more followers I lose!
But no, no pics of the whole collection. It's a roomful and a storage unit.

i am @jazz_peasant, gst. follow me and i'll follow you too.
if you post pictures of good jazz and put relevant hashtags, people will follow you. i don't know how, but it's cool. i have one pic of my whole collection, as my first post, but lots of it is obscured by covers on display.

I'm following all of you now (my handle is gstvinyl), although I'm not sure how much i'll be posting. Most of my followers are friends/family none of who have much interest in records and even less so in jazz.
