hi alva! welcome to our board. nice to have you.
i initially thought I knew absolutely nothing about this question, and i still think that, but here's some thoughts: i have seen that label only one other time before. it was the exact same record, with the same cover! on eBay, about five or six months ago, if memory serves. could it be the same copy? who knows.
i also know next to nothing about south american vinyl in general, except that i know the same Brazilian polydor version of "black saint and the sinner lady" has been floating about on ebay for almost a year now with no interest.
but i'm sure it sounds nice enough. $75 is a bit pricey, though, in my mind.

Hi Greg, thanks for your reply. I now realize that this Argentina release is a bit later, maybe 1964 or 1965. Still, the discogs copy is not the one I was referring to. I ended up buying it. It was on ebay and I paid $40 which I think it's a fair price for a record described as being in EX. condition. Let's hope it turns out fine! Cheers!!

Oh, $40 is a bit more reasonable.
I am admittedly a devoted follower of first pressing fundamentalism, but I would guess that record would provide a perfectly nice listening experience. Let me know how it goes!

Still looking for an original. Bought two off eBay including one that looked mint, but both had the dreaded groove distortion. Good luck with your sale.
