I also forwarded this to Andy: I've discovered quite a while back that the early Prestige 10" LP's should bear the earlier address " Prestige Record Co., 754 10th Avenue, New York, N.Y." to be the 1st pressings. Not the " 446 West 50th Stree t" address. Prestige Record Co. was the company Bob Weinstock founded before he incorporated it as Prestige Records Inc.Just bought a Red Rodney 10" that bears the earlier address, but there's also copies with the later address and a different typeface on the front cover. So maybe you could include that in your Prestige Label Guide. Here's a link to a nice pdf where you can read all about it: www.friktech.com/labels/PrestigeAlbums.pdf
