I've been cleaning out my closets and came across some old 1950's jazz albums left behind by my father. I looked them up, did research, to see if there were any rare ones. I found examples of all of them with one exception. It's a 1954-55 copy of: Bix Beiderbecke & Wolverine, RIVERSIDE records 1023, 10" LP, there are plenty available on E-bay in black vinyl but the one I have is in RED vinyl.
I've done a lot of searching and I haven't seen anything about a red vinyl version of that album, I even looked for any colored vinyl records released by Riverside records and found noting. Has anybody heard of this red vinyl album or any colored vinyl from Riverside? Is this a really rare find? Any feed back is welcome.

I know that early Riverside is highly collectible, but Bix tends not to be, so it's a mixed bag. Early colored vinyl is always neat, though. Have you tried collector's frenzy or popsike?

Thanks for the help guys.
Nice find dottorjazz, that's exactly the album but mine I would say has more wear, not trashed but it was played in its day, its been sitting in a closet for the last 50 some odd years.
Yea I checked those sites but found nothing on the red vinyl.

Using the free trial I got the price off the Worthpoint site: $20.74 in 2011. It was open ebay bidding so some demand but not much, the price was disappointing but C'est la vie.
