Hi all Ive just been starting to get into jazz via an Eric Dolphy album I picked up and loved. I just picked up an Italian mono copy of Giant Steps at a market in Milan. It sounds great. It has the black Atlantic label. I'm just wondering if its a first pressing anyone have a clue? There isnt much info about italian records online.
Thanks all

italian first should be like this: cover made in USA, the same as original USA black issue

Thanks. Yes that's the one. I love heard it. I've heard so much about Coltrane but wow. Unfortunately side 2 has a scratch that doesn't look so bad but skips the whole side.oh well the 1st side is worth the E10 alone.

Original or not, it would keep me awake at night. It would have to go. I'd rather have a CD than a mistreated record... Sad, and perhaps not entirely rational, but true...
