I can't find a good resource for determining Strata East first pressings so I thought I'd start a thread about all things Strata East.
These are my initial finds and by no means complete or for that matter even correct, and that's why I'm bring it to you all.
Best I can tell there were at least three Strata East locations over the years starting with 463 West St. Suite 1020H, NYC 10014 until at least Sept 1974. They next moved to 156 5th Ave, NYC, 10010 by at least March 1975 and finally ended up at 221 West 57th St, NYC, 10019 although I'm unsure of the time frame.
Labels however seem to switch from the 10014 zip code to 10010 starting with Gil Scott-Heron Winter In America (SES-19742)? Can anyone confirm?
In addition there are label variations with the same zip code. Despite what cvinyl.com/ says I believe the all white label with the 10014 zip to be the first pressings (see Jazz Contemporaries – Reasons In Tonality or Clifford Jordan – Clifford Jordan In The World). As far as the 10010 is concerned I believe the labels that read "A PRODUCT OF STRATA-EAST, INC., N.Y.C. 10010" came before a similar style label that drops the aforementioned wording.
Thoughts?

The vast majority of SE titles had only one pressing, and there is little to no other info, so this would be a good thing to do. I am away until July, but I am interested in this and will get in excitedly when I am back!

I'll start with Clifford Jordan's In the World. I believe the plain white label to be the first pressing. Here are the US and Japanese versions.

Here is a second pressing of In the World with the black and white cookie design. Both have the 10014 zip on the label and back cover.

Next up is Jazz Contemporaries – Reasons In Tonality which has a total redesign from the initial release to the US re-press (there is also a Japanese release you can see here).

..and to complete the set, here is the 1972 UK release which I got on an ebay auction quite recently. Attachment DeletedNasty 70s package but about a 1/3 of the price of the original US pressing.

The only original in my collection is John Hicks Hells Bells SES 8002. Not one of the most sought after Strata East releases but I have a thing for John Hicks..

Thanks sztiv!
Looking into my own collection I found a cover variation for Warren Smith's Composers Workshop Ensemble. The first has the 10014 address on the bottom right aligned with the personnel (first photo below). The second (the one I have) has the later 10010 address (bottom left) as well as "Stereo SES 1972-3" printed in the upper right hand corner. The record labels appear to be identical with the 10014 address.

I suppose at one point we'll have to figure out a system to capture all of this information on a spreadsheet. Any ideas would be welcome.

This is what happens when your friends find your record forum through your Instagram post. Still a good idea is a good idea!
